Aura is latent Energy present in all space.
Just as flowing matter distributes itself to evenly fill a space, Energy will naturally spread as much as possible. This resulting 'atmosphere' of Energy is called Aura: Aura is usually composed of countless Elements that are either not under the right conditions or simply too inert to react with their environment or each other.
Aura at a distinct point in space is measured in Amplification (AMP). Where an AMP of 1.0 is the universal average density of Energy.
AMP increases whenever forces are applied to the Aura. This could be a continuous source like Osa from a flowing stream or a brief one like the Vir of a punch. Whatever the cause the result is Root Energy being moved from one point to another, lowering the AMP in one space and raising it in another.
When Amplification increases, to 1.1 or higher, the Elements become dense enough to interact with each other. Elements increase in size and complexity as they form more links: More elaborate effects occur at higher speeds. The possible results of these reactions are limitless in variation and only limited in scale by the Amplification.
Because the total amount of Energy will always remain constant, when AMP increases in one location it must decrease by an equivalent amount somewhere else. Aura adjacent to these vacuums is pulled in and so even a small shift in AMP will affect relatively distant locations.
